Le Tre Cime
Steep and loose dolomite. Badly protected. Winter. Bitterly cold. Absolutely isolated. The summary of a solo winter
ascent of Bellavista on the Cima Ovest.
The Tre Cime with its vertical, 500- metre- high North Faces offer some of the most spectacular views on earth; the
roof of the Cima Ovest, overhanging for 80 metres, is one of the biggest roofs in the world and the place where Alexander
has created his new route Bellavista.
Aidclimbing up to A4 and badly protected freeclimbing at 5.12b - altogether at temperatures of -10° centigrade.
